The CEO asked for an overall assessment of his leadership team and their performance. Sustained Advantage completed a ValuScan™ report that looked at all the functions based on the Language of Value models. Working with the CEO and lead team members, changes were discussed and implemented immediately while others are being planned and scheduled over the next year. In a follow on assignment, consultants led each top level department in a review and discussion of their ValuScan results and reached agreement on where changes and improvements made sense. The annual strategy and planning session was facilitated by SA that included the Board of Directors.
Formal business case reports will form the basis for projects that move from planning into implementation. Such reports provide a consistent method for evaluating projects and new programs before leaders make final commitments for large amounts of resources. This business case system gives the CEO and other team members a uniform format for all to follow that is a logical and consistent approach for developing and implementing projects over the next fiscal year.
